A contest winner, Daddy-love, arts & crafts and remodeling...

Maddie made this picture of our family a couple of weeks ago. I love it! From left to right: Olly, Tyler, Maia, Maddie and me.
I made this wooden sign at a Relief Society activity last week and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. It's supposed to be a Christmas decoration, but I may leave it up all year long.

My handsome, silly man framed by the opening he just finished between our kitchen and dining area. He did a wonderful job! Now we just need to install crown molding, get new light fixtures and a few accessories and the kitchen will be DONE. Took us long enough, eh? :)

Maddie at Village Inn. We went there for dinner a few nights ago to celebrate Maia winning a coloring contest (along with a few other kids) that Village Inn sponsored through Maia's school. She won a bag full of goodies, including a $25 gift card to Village Inn! She was THRILLED and we're so proud of her!

Pointing out where her colored page is displayed!
Maia's winning entry! She had to write a bit about how she celebrated her "Big, Wild Life" in Alaska over the summer. "Big, Wild Life" is part of the slogan for the latest ad campaign aimed at tourists to Alaska.

My beautiful Maddie, snuggling her precious Pink Bunny and watching a TV show.
The girls never want Tyler to go to work. A few mornings ago, they were especially against the idea. They climbed on and wouldn't let go! That's serious Daddy-love! :)
