Maddie-ism.

Each night we listen to Maia read us one or two verses from the Book of Mormon. It is a constant battle to get Maddie to listen quietly and stay still for this small dose of righteousness. I figured that she wasn't hearing, let alone retaining, any of what Maia was reading. But the other day, Tyler walked in on Maddie "reading" the Book of Mormon to herself. She said: "And it came to pass that I beheld he said, 'repent!'" It was so cute! It made me think of Elder Bednar's talk on consistency and I'm grateful we've made reading the Book of Mormon a habit. And just when I was sure Maddie wasn't listening, Heavenly Father let me know that she was and that I should keep it up!
