Olly update: he now weighs 50 lbs. and he'll be 7 months old on February 3rd.

My favorite moments are when my girls are loving to each other and enjoying each other's company. This was one of those moments: Maia is reading a book to Maddie.

Last night we were watching the US Figure Skating Championships and Maia said to her friend Katelyn (we were babysitting her), "My mom was in the Olympics." I couldn't help it and I laughed, and told Maia that only the BEST athletes go to the Olympics and that I'm far, far, far from that. I asked her what event she thought I went to the Olympics for and she said, "The balance beam." :) I love my Maia! It's wonderful that she believes me capable of such amazing feats..especially since I can't even do a cartwheel!
