Maia and Katelyn.
On Saturday, Maia's best friend and our next-door neighbor, Katelyn, turned 8 years old. Katelyn invited Maia and a couple of other friends to dress up in their finest duds for a trip to the Anchorage Museum where they got to explore the kids' section. Then they got to eat decadent desserts in the Museum cafe. Maia had a wonderful time and really enjoyed herself. Katelyn is a fantastic friend to Maia and we're so grateful that she lives next door to us. We love her and the rest of her family!

i just got caught up on your recent posts and it was wonderful. i'm so glad you are staying, at least for a little while longer. your kitchen floor is perfectly lovely and your girls are gorgeous as always. you and tyler make a great couple. so fun to blog even though we're right through the neighbor's yard in proximity. lets get together soon.
